Palm Sunday Sunday 17th April
Masses as usual.
2.30pm Assemble at The Green for short service at the Cross followed by procession of witness to Darwen Tower for positioning the Cross over Darwen or for those who do not want to climb to the Tower, walk to St. Joseph's for Stations of the Cross.
MaundyThursday 21st April
No morning Mass.
Mass of the Lord's Supper
7.30pm at St. Edward's followed by watching at the Altar of Repose until 11.00pm.
Good Friday 22nd April
10.30am. Stations of the Cross at St. Joseph's
3.00pm Liturgy of the Lord's Passion at St. Edward's.
Holy Saturday 23rd April
8.00pm Easter Vigil at St. Joseph's.
Easter Sunday 24th April
9.00am Mass at St. Joseph's
11.00am Mass at St. Edward's
Sunday Mass
The Vigil Mass is on Saturday at
6.15pm. in St. Joseph's church.
Mass on Sunday is at
9.00am. in St. Joseph's and
11.00am in St. Edward's
church.
Weekday Mass
Weekday Mass is usually at
9.15am on Tuesday and Thursday at St. Edward's and 9.15am on Wednesday and Friday at St. Joseph's.
Saturday Mass is usually at 11.00am at St. Edward's unless there is a wedding.

Confessions
Confessions follow the 11.00am Mass on Saturday at St. Edward's until noon.
There is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament during this time.
Morning Prayer of the Church (The Divine Office.)
This is prayed in
common on Monday mornings at 9.15am. in St. Joseph's.
Also each week
St. Joseph's church is open Monday - Friday until midday. Please drop in.
There is a bible study, looking at the readings for the following Sunday, in the
meeting room at St. Joseph's on Wednesday evenings from 7pm until 8pm. Everyone is welcome.
